Shell exten. 2.8 nixes MS tweakui image resizer

I often use Microsoft tweakui XP "image resizer" as a quick tool, right click on an image file...its been in use with no problems since 2005.

But, after install of Xnview 1.97 and XnShellEx 2.8.0.0, the "image resizer" no longer works....menu item is there, click seems to activate, but then nothing happens....nothing! (XnView 1.95 without ShellExten. worked OK)

I uninstalled and reinstalled the MS tool but get same "nothing happens".

Reporting in hope:
- someone knows a solution
- developer will find a solution and do a bug fix
(assuming I'm not the only one with the bug)

I use WinXPhome SP2.
XnView and its shell ex seems to run OK, no problems.

Anyone with any ideas of help? or confirm same problem?
