Hi
I'm using Xnview 1.96.2 in a network configuration (NAS, Win7, Vista). The Xnview DB as well as my picture library is stored on a central drive (NAS) which is accessable by all clients in the network. Basically this works fine and I do not know if the described error has anything to do with the configuration or if its a general issue.
After adding a new category, it appears in the category tab. Assigning several pictures to this category by selecting the pictures and drag/drop to the new category also works. After a while, the category tab appears in the preview window when selecting a single picture for preview. So far, so good. All previously created categories appear in the pictures category view, but the new one is missing.
Closing and restarting Xnview shows the correct category assignments, including the new one (this is my workaraound). So from a data point of view, it is working, but from a usability/GUI standpoint, it is an error. Any chance to get this fixed, or is there another way like a "view refresh" ?.
Cheers, Uncle Tom
