Hi,
by using a different software I edited EXIF.
For example a keyword like: 'bäume', but XnView will display 'bäume'. Even another software display the EXIF correct as 'bäume'.
Isn't XnView able to display german characters?
horst

Hi Pierre,
(you've got the file via e-mail)
I've shrinked the original file down but have controlled, that everything is the same.
Here it is.
Picture database to set EXIF and co. is IdImager version 5.0.5, http://www.idimager.com

I've controlled the IPTC by using PhotoLine http://www.pl32.com

edit: Maybe one may ask, why I'm running XnView because I own IdImager.
Very simple: IdI is a great database and able to deal with offline media, but for selecting pictures by looking at just for joy or to work at, XnView is so much faster, so easy to use and indispensable :D (and one of the reasons why we have bought XnView in our company).

The IPTC field use utf8 encoding but the flag for utf8 is not here! So it's strange...

I've tried with exiftool, and encoding is bad too...
