Hi,

I wanted to open a *.mp4 video and play it.
It will only display the hex code.

Then I changed the extension mp4 to mpg.
Now XnView can suddenly play the video.

What is the reason for this different behavior?

I've removed .mp4 from video extensions, many users have problem with mp4 codec...

Is there a way to configure XnView so that the extension .mp4 is supported.
Can we use the GFL SDK library?
If so, how?
I am a newbie and only know Visual Basic.
