Viewer Mode Toolbar Delete Function?

Firstly, thank you for an excellent freeware photo program. We had been using ACDsee 5.0 - prone to crashes and conflicts - and tried XnView when the frustration just became too much. It's a dandy, as we say in Newfoundland...

One question - is there a delete function available for the toolbar when one is actually viewing an individual photo in viewer mode? I know there is a delete function available in the Edit menu, but, when reviewing our shots, we are used to just clicking the Delete button on the toolbar to get rid of out-of-focus shots, duplicates and the like. The delete function is available in XnView's toolbar in browser mode, but disappears when a photo is loaded for viewing... :?:

Regards, and thanks again for XnView...

Pierre,

Thank you for the reply. I have just tried to find the solution suggested - still can't seem to find how to add a Delete button to the view mode...

I'm doing the following:

Tools - Options - Toolbar (under Interface) - View...and cannot find a Delete button to add. What am I doing wrong??? I can find the red X Delete button in Browser mode, but not in View mode - also noticed there is no keystroke combination for Delete...

No big deal - just a very minor issue of convenience. We are liking XnView better every time we use it - by far the best freeware viewer we've tried. Again, our thanks for making such a solid piece of software freely available...
Regards,
Richard
