hi,

Currently and still when I drag n drop a item from Win Explorer/file manager folder into XnView MP's 'Browser' folder of my choice, the item is just 'copied' over rather than actually moved and I dislike this process especially for larger image files that I folder manipulate. Heck I think that this is bad behaviour for any file/folder being moved in and out of XnView's 'Browser'

Even the old and existing XnView win did this same thing too in it's 'Browser' but I never really used XnView win's 'browser' back then lol :P

I think by DEFAULT that this should be DISABLED however an option enable this if wanted (enable/disable) tickbox can be made for users that like the feature.

I think my observation is related to the above: When (in the browser) I drag and drop a file into a folder (ordinary move), they are first copied, then secondly the originals are removed. Strange behaviour to just move a file. [In Windows XP sp3]

Yes all is fine when I do that. From the Browser BUT it still leave a copy behind in Explorer when I drag n drop INTO the Browser.

And the file is moved to a place on the same partition? (Maybe it isn't related then.)
