Great program! One Question....

Hi,
I have 1.94.2 version of XNView. I have tried so many different programs for my pictures. There are none better than this one!

I have scanned over 6000 of my family pictures dating back to the early 1900's and used XNView to file, crop, and clean them up.
And then created a succession of DVD's slideshows for years or groups of years for my 2 daughters and my son, which amounts to about 30 discs for each of them.

Besides the DVD slideshows, they each will have a 'data' disc that contains all the actual individual pictures, plus family tree charts, obituaries, unidentified photos, scans of letters from our relatives and ancestors from Europe, etc.

Plus I'm including the XnView program on the data disc for them to use to view the individual pictures, and now that they have their own families, use it on their pictures to enhance them, print them, label them, whatever they need.

It is the easily the best and easiest photo program I've ever used!

I know there are newer versions of this program, but the one I have has done everything I've needed it to do.

I do have one question, which may have already been answered in this forum somewhere, but it just escapes me as to what I should search for to maybe find the answer......

--Once the XnView program is open, and I try to Alt-Tab into another program or area on my computer, such as the Pictures directory, or even go to start and try to open any other program, XnView 'remains' in view and does not go 'into the background'. Is there anything available in my version that I can change to allow this, or is there a fix in a newer version?

Thanks for a great photo program!!!

Maybe you have the 'Always on Top' option enabled in your settings.

To check this, goto: Tools->Options->Interface. And check that 'Always on Top' checkbox is not selected.
