My nearly only use for a picture viewer is: Throw a folder onto it to view. Tried XnViewMP 0.26,
like version 0.20 it still doesn't support this (at least on Mac OS X 10.6.3).

Yes I tried doing this with a folder, some time ago, as into dragging onto the xnview.exe on my Vista and nothing happened. It would be a nice feature to support and IMO quite simple to add.
I think there are two options for this:
-drag a folder to xnview.exe/GUI and it would go to the folder in the 'Browser'
-drag a folder to xnview.exe/GUI and it goes straight to the 'Viewer' and views first file in a list

Do you means drag&drop on the icon's application?

Yes, just to the icon in the Dock of OS X, where I keep the icon although the app is closed.
