Request: renamer compatibility function

Some filenames which MS users use can be problematic on Linux (at least with some command line applications). The reverse is true also, I imagine. An interesting feature for the renamer would be to have a way to clean up filenames to make them more universally acceptable on all supported OS. Such as changing all the spaces, apostrophes, special/reserved characters in one pass.

+1 (for exemple files starting with a dot are not allowed in Windows ".* "; etc...)
