Please, allow / or \ in batch rename pattern to create subdirectories structure based on pattern.
A field for target base directory would be good too (or else pattern can be alowed to have absolute path, it would be enough)

and +1 for this suggestion, I need this too.
why?
my Canon creates each picture as raw .CR2 and as .JPG in one single Folder. If I import the pics from SD Card, I would store the .CR2 in a subfolder ./CR2/* and the .JPG in a subfolder ./JPG/*
I use AntRenamer for this, but it would be great to do this with XnView, so that I need only one Prog.

Or have I overseen this feature and I could make this work?
