I'm new for using xnview, I think it's better than ACDSee, at least, it's support rmvb file thumbnail, ACDSee never won't. But I have some more suggestions that I think will be very useful.

Custom Thumbnail
Can specify a custom thumbnail for a file? This will be very useful for video files. Currently, video files will display a thumb about 10% timeline, but I think if I can specify a movie cover for it as thumbnail will be much better, then xnview even can be a great movie management software. Of course, for more, there can be some other information about this movie, like the year, main actor, director, etc... Oh, by the way, can the auto thumbnail be 4 pics like a floder for a video file? Single thumbnail is not very well for a video file.

Single QuickView Window
Double click an image will be get into the edit mode. It is better if there's a quick view window that only view the image without edit functions. In most of the time, I just want to see the image, not edit, like ACDSee. So I can uninstall ACDSee and use xnview as the only default picture viewer.

Currently it's not possible

Hum, is it a good solution to have 3 modes. Browser-view-edit, i' m not sure. But we can talk about that in this forum :-)
