This is for 0.26.1.

I had set up several columns in detail view - but when i returned they were all off and only "Name" was showing.

"returned", when you restart XnView?

Yes, by returned I mean the next time i started the program.

Does it forget it when i jump around in view modes? I often change between thumbnail and detail mode.

When you quit, you are always in details mode?
Do you reproduce it?

When I quit I am not always in details mode - no, I change modes often. I may quit in thumbnail mode.

I can't specifically reproduce it (not yet anyway), but it happens often.
