XnView Software

Hi everyone !

I just found a feature that would help me : checking the photo I want to move insted of selecting them and loose them each time i forgot to press "Ctrl" again...

So the first time Xnview asked me if I wanted to use selected photos or checked photos...i didn't understood on the first place and checked "selected" and "Remember my decision for future"... but actually I'd prefer to use "Checked photo" instead.

Just can't find in the option where you can change this behaviour !

To reset, change item in xnview.ini file to read:
[Start]
TagShowFlags=0

Thanks for the answer, but in my ini file, TagShowFlags is equal to 0 so i don't really know what to change ???

Ok. It also uses the line: "ShowAgain="
add 65536 to its number or delete line to reset all show-agains.
I think:
TagShowFlags=1 means use tagged files
TagShowFlags=2 means use selected files
(so you can make different choice without seeing dialog)

Hi, I'm having the same issue here. I see some possibly relevant entries in my xnview.ini :
Which of these should I modify in order to get back the prompt asking me if I want to operate on tagged or selected files? Thanks!

Also, might I suggest adding a button under Options somewhere that will reset this and other similar settings? Many applications have such a feature, sometimes called "Reset warnings" or something similar.
