Thumbnail rendering is erratic. Looks cool, though:

Resizing the thumbs fixes this.

Hi Pierre
??? How do you have this bug???
I was hoping you could tell me!!! :(

When opening MP 0.30 (no parameters) from the desktop, thumbs are always either missing or corrupted.

Navigating away from the folder (and then returning to it), or selecting Rebuild thumbnails, or Resizing the thumbs always causes MP to correctly display the thumbnails.

Deleting the cache has no effect on this behavior.

Here is another example (please ignore the multiple previews, that's a bug reported in another thread).

It seems that the "Lossy" setting in the thumbnail cache settings doesn't work. The "Lossless (ZIP)" setting seems to function perfectly.

Yes. Switching to lossless seems to fix the problem.

Yup! Same here

Render times for the thumbnails seem slower too than the other MP beta.

Slower? Even with lossless compression?

Yep, same here;
rendering seems significant slower (On windows-7 32)

Which compression do you use for database?
Do you use :
option/Thumbnail > Create thumbnails for whole folder?
option/Cache DB>Maximum size ...?

Is it the first rendering that only slow??

For what it is worth, I do not find the thumbnail rendering slow at all. It seems to be about 2x faster than XnView 1.9x.

There is a problem with 'Create thumbnails for whole folder', a little delay is here...

OK,
When i look at the thumbnails they don't seem to be refreshed,
scrolling with the vertical thumbnail window-slider refreshes them, but still with a slow respons.
When I change the setting to "create thumbnails for whole folder" the
rendering is fast, and no refresh problems.

Yes known issue

It's not a slow, there is a little delay when you move the slider. Only visible thumbnails are created...

Hi xnview, regarding that problem I was posting, rra had the same one.
