is there a setting to be able to show the first frame of a mp4 video in thumbnail view like there is for avi's? thanks, dan.

If you have the codec, you'll have thumbnail for mp4

i can create in mp4 format. i have the k lite codec pack which includes it. but only the icon shows in thumbnails. is there a specific codec for xnview?

fixed by uninstalling 1.97 and reinstalling it. dan
