TGA->PNG Conversion Memory Leak with option Delete original

Hi,

when converting a large number of files (in my case 32bit TGA to 32bit PNG) XNview is causing a memory. After swapping a while the error message "Not enough memory" appears.

This happen with both tools "Batch Processing" and "Sequence Convert".

Settings:
- XnNiew 1.97.8 (Sep 20 2010) Libformat Version 5.76
Batch Processing / Sequence Convert
- Use Original Path (as output)
- Delete original

NOTE: It does NOT happen if "Delete original" is unchecked. So I assume buffering the original image before deleting it causes the leak.

Best regards,

Christian

Hi again,

I just tried to reproduce the issue in order to make a screen video and I couldn't too. :?:

I am really sure that this happend reproducable several times. The only thing I could imagine that a system restart solved the issue. When I remember correctly I just installed the new XnView version over the old one an ran it directly. But as long as I cannot reproduce that doesn't not help too much.

So, sorry for the false alert.

Christian

ps: What I forgot to mention. I am running the 32bit version on a 64bit Vista.
