How to view a list of all files ?

I would need a view with image only, no folders

I don't understand what you mean.
It is possible to search * and you get a list of all files
But that is not a convenient method

That works, but why do I get a lot of strange files like T337.ithmb, modd and moff files etc

XnView allows you to hide certain types of files in “Thumbnail” view:
  • Tools » Options... » Browser » File List » File List
