XnView Software

I would like to use xnview mp to view/manage photos and Rawtherapee for raw conversion.
The interaction between these Sw should be easier if they could share processing data. In peculiar each has his own way to store image rating.

Do you think it could be possible to store this kind of data in XMP as described in xmp spec part 1 as it is a step toward standardisation.

Anyway last version of Xnview MP is really great and useful and I wait for the next improvements

You can already store rating in XMP (option/Metadata/Import or export rating)

Thank you. It works fine for Jpeg

However I am much more interested in the rating of raw files and this does'nt seem to work for DNG or NEF.
I generated with exiftool DNG and NEF with xmp ratings and they do not appear as Xnview rating.

Do you think it is possible to manage xmp ratings also for raw files?

Currently not possible but i'll add it
