Search results presented in detail view do not show folder column
This means I do not know which folder the file resides in
Yes, I know what you would reply: right click and "OPEN CONTAINING FOLDER"
This is tedious to do for each file.
No work arround ?
XnView seems to have no option to customize columns.

No, you don't know what we would reply. The reply is: Your suggestion has been discussed in topic Search: show file path. Post there if you want to support/discuss this matter.

I have seen the thread you are referring to. The conclusion is that XnView has no view for showing containing folders.
Because of this (and other lack of features too) I think XnView is not so usefull viewer for me

You have folder column in XnViewMP, i'll add new column in xnView 1.97
