xnview-browser Streaming slideshow from UPnP Server DLNA

Hello everyone
I like to hear music, and I would like to look to images as easy as to music. All of my music resides on a storage system and is served via UPnP (DLNA compliant) to the player(s) throughout my local network. All those UPnP Servers I tried are able to stream music as well as images (mostly called photos). Thus I was looking for a player application (UPnP renderer) which allows the selection and display of images as easyly as this is true for the music. And I did not find any.
The UPnP-Server I'm using now (Mezzmo) does read some of the tags from the media files (yes from even the images/photos). Those tags are grouped and ordered through configuration of Mezzmo. The result is then streamed to an UPnP control point which in turn controls the display/rendering of the media on an appropiate rendering device. For the music this is quite easy, there are hardware devices (internet radio) and Windows-Renderer.
The images/photos could quite nicely be rendered on TV screens and such devices. But there is no UPnP Renderer for images on Windows (the WindowsMediaPlayer shows them but does not include the UPnP control point to select from a network stream).
Having said this: I suggest that the xnview browser is extended to stream images/photos provided through an UPnP Control Point and streamed from some UPnP server. Thus xnview will be an UPnP Renderer.
I suggest that the keywords presented by the UPnP control Point are displayed in hierarchical tree view. To better understand, you may have a look to the UPnP Browser plugin provided for the free music player foobar2000, I attached a screenshot
I do not know if this is easy to implement in xnview, as far as I have seen the UPnP frameworks I assume it is possible. I would really like to have it, since this would allow the same simplicity to store images as is true for music
What's Your opinion about this?
Regards, Martin
