RC3: background color for thumbnails in TC

since RC3, thumbnails displayed in Total Commander have always a black background. In RC1 the Thumbnails backgrounds were always transparent, which I prefer much more. Did I miss some option introduced in RC3 or is this a bug?
(I removed the ini file and cache, but this 'problem' still occurs)
ABSOLUTELY !

Hello !
- Glad to see you here too

-
I confirm, and I can tell you that I reported this

already in the French equivalent section
HERE. You can view the pics in my two messages from the linking-words
ICI and
capture,
the second being the same icons as a thumb-nail board in XnView
directly.
- This occurs @home under Win 98SE. It didn't happen with RC2, only with RC3 now.
- If you test with a directory containing
icons, let's say both 24 BPP and the same as 8 BPP (256 colours), you get quite black backgrounds
for the 24 BPP thumbnails, while the 8 BPP have various fancy background-colours, not black, but anyway never the TC panel background colour, like it should !
{ Aside : you might register here, to complete the TC-group in XnView forum
}

Kind regards,
Claude

I can confirm that, too.
It's important for all xnView & TC users.
After StickyNomad, Clo and myself - I think Hacker, deus-ex and JohnFredC will post next.

Oh yes, right. Now when TC ask for a thumbnail of 128x128, i send always a thumbnail of this size by making a canvas resize. It's for the request of Lemo:

But perhaps it's a problem....

In the mentioned thread I didn't talk about the TC ThumbnailView (left pane).
What I've ment is the QuickView (right pane), which should be served centered by xnView.
That was my request.
It's TC itself in the left pane and Imagine in the right pane. It has the option to center the QuickView.

Ok, a mistunderstanding, sorry.
But i don't know how to center it. TC ask for a full size of picture, that's the only info...

Hm, I also don't know how Imagine does it.
When you look on my TC screenshot, you can see Imagine's StatusBar under the preview.
Does it make something like an addition?
So it doesn't serve the image only, but the image with (overlayed to) Imagine itself - a kind of screenshot?

I think that Image is a true Plugin for TC, not only like xnview an Addon.
Perhaps it would be great to make such plugin for TC (but not now

)

You have to pay for TC - Imagine is absolutely free.
