Yes, but used terms are not good i think

We must find something better than:
- Viewer and Fullscreen Standard / Browser and Fullscreen Lite
- Viewer and Browser
- Browser, Viewer and Fullscreen Standard

At the beginning, there was just few features in "Fullscreen Lite mode" therefore "Lite" - now we could find better name...

No, when you are in browser, you have fullscreen without EDIT mode. In edit mode you have fullscreen of EDIT mode. So it's not really a lite fullscreen like Dreamer said.

EDIT is when you open a new view window (open from browser or File/Open) to edit picture.

I see. But you just gave the answer yourself: It's just the viewer - which happens to have editing capabilities. So there actually is no "edit mode", right? No need to over-complicate things here IMHO.

I think Pierre calls Viewer - EDIT mode, so there will be no additional mode.

It looks "EDIT fullscreen" and "VIEW fullscreen" is more confusing for users then Fullscreen Standard and Lite, so we must find another terms...

What about this: Viewer Fullscreen / Browser Fullscreen.

Or if you'll add all (or most) features from standard to lite fullscreen, we could use just one term for both fullscreen modes - Fullscreen.

Yes, right. There is NO new mode

What about this: Viewer Fullscreen / Browser Fullscreen.

It's that, fulscreen from EDIT mode, fullscreen from BROWSER mode.

the problem is that term "EDIT mode" is very confusing for users...

Maybe we could start a new topic for this - "New names for 2 fullscreen modes", it's not easy for users to reply here...

Maybe so, but I don't think so. Because no one advertise XnView as editor and XnView haves view in it's name. So if users get confused, it's their own fault (No offence Dreamer ) I actually think that Edit mode would clear things for users.

I agree. Actually I haven't never thought/notice that it's the only mode where I can edit picture.

You can edit picture also in the Browser (rotate/flip/cunvert...).

We must use the same names for the same features!

In Help > Misc. > Key combinations, there is "Browser Mode" and "Image View Mode".

In Options, there is "Browser" and "View".

Therefore I think "EDIT mode" will be confusing (it is already - see comments above).

If there will be two names for the same mode, it will be always confusing.

Old xnview users know only one Fullscreen mode, so "Edit Fullscreen" might be confusing for them too.

Another idea for "old" and "new" fullscreen mode names:

- Fullscreen
- Quick Fullscreen (as Quick Slide Show)

Quick Fullscreen and Quick Slide Show? Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I hate the Quick Slide Show feature, the sooner it is dead the better.

Of cource it could be just 'View mode', but that wouldn't be quite right.

Heres some suggestions.
- Edit mode
- View mode
- Adjust mode
- Modify mode
- Convert mode
- Vary mode

I prefer only Edit and View mode. Rest of the name are just wrong or BAD

it's just a suggestion for "new" fullscreen mode name, not a new feature. (Quick Slide Show is great, if you don't like it, don't use it, where is the problem?)

Yes - Edit mode or View mode, but use this name also in Options and Help - again don't use two names for the same mode!
