Hi
I see no way out, please help!

I wish see only pictures, but XnView still shows all files like CONFIG.SYS, setup.log, html files, etc etc...

I tryed uncheck all in Options - File List, but it is still all there !!! I mean, when i uncheck all, the list should be empty , but isn't :-( Where is the problem?

Thx
Jan

Perhaps this usage report points up a mild confusion concerning the behavior of Tools->Options->File List.

IMO, it is not made clear anywhere that the settings in the File List options map to the Browser Filter "Custom".

If development of XnView "Legacy" is to continue, then this area (the relationship between the Browser filter combo-box and Options->File List) could use a redesign.

Perhaps a tooltip in option>Filelist??

IMO it were not clear, it must be clear both ways:
- in Filter: not only "Custom", but such as "Custom (specified in Options - File List)"
- in Options - File List: on top text such as: This selections are used by View - Filter - Custom

Better ways change the name "File List" in Options to "Custom Filter":
- in Filter: not only "Custom", but such as "Custom (see Options - Custom Filter)"
- in Options - Custom Filter: on top text such as: This selections are used by View - Filter - Custom

There should be unified terminology.
