Standard browser size?!

I tried to set everything acdsee-like, so the window matches the image size while image viewing.
result: when double clicking for the browser, the browser has the same size as the image.
If you do this at small images the browser is small as well, you have to make it bigger.
So suggestion would be: don't get the double click browser size from the image you clicked on. get it from an standart browser size.

this is already an option: general->use different position/size for browser & view.

Yes, but in 1.80 RC version only (and with a bug), please wait for the final version 1.80.

I'm also trying to emulate acdsee as closely as I can. I have version 1.80.1 and the 'general->use different position/size for browser & view' option seems to be broken for me. I get the behavior ewerybody desribes in his post above where the browser inherits the viewer size. Does it work for anyone else or is this a bug in the current release?

It doesn't work when you maximize xnview - a known bug.
