Slide Show Picture Alignment

When I select 'Go" in the "Slide Show" function, No matter what setting I use i cannot get the pictures to display in the same format (landscape/portrait) that they are saved in.
Every pic goes to Portrait. Please fix this as it breaks a good program.
I need it to 'Full screen" but keep format (that is why we choose the background colour).
I haven't tried creating an exe 'cause if it dont work in normal viewing I presume it wont work in a compiled format.
This function works fine in "Fastone Image Viewer"
Tried versions 197.8 and 198 beta4
