How to update IPTC on mulitple files

Hi,
The handling of the update of IPTC fields in case of multi-selection is quite unfriendly. I always ends with missing my keywords.
I have the writing options for IPTC:
-Combine new and current
-add new values
-Keep current value if empty
Up to now, I was able to do it by setting first keywords for the biggest group of images, then reducing the selection with more specific keyword.
But I use now a GPS, and Geosetter for tagging the photo, which add location keywords and Flickr geo coordinates keywords.
If I now add something in the IPTC on two or more image without the exact same location, all the keywords from the first selected images are added to the other images.
I didn't find any solutions with current version of xnview.
I think that the IPTC editor, in multi files mode, should be opened on "generic mode" with all the common fields visible. Adding new values or even keywords would add it to all selected files, but without copying the specific data of the first image.
By the way, the MP version have the same problem.
