MISSING FEATURE IN 1.98

I had a previous version 1.96 I believe when. Whenever i would right click on a image file in a list (such as selecting an attachment file) XnView would display the image in the menu box . This came in handy when I was trying to find the correct image. When 1.98 came out I installed it. When i right clicked on an image in a file list there was no image in the menu box. I figured this was the result of the new version. So I uninstalled 1.98 and went back to the previous version. (I always keep a copy of the old version when ever a new version of any software is released) After reinstalling the old version I right clicked on a image file in a list..the image was not displayed like previously. Any suggestion how I can get this feature back?
