XnView doesn't see ratings entered by XnViewMP?

Hello,
Not sure if this should be in XnView or XnViewMP. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.
I was wondering why, when I rate/colour label a photo with XnViewMP (writing to the photo XMP - thank you for that feature!), the photo rating/colour label doesn't show up in regular XnView? Is there some way to enable this, or tell XnView to look for XnViewMP-style ratings and colour tags in the XMP data?
Usability suggestion: for reading XMP-stored rating info, add an interface to allow user to scan the XMP for metadata added by Photoshop *OR* Windows Explorer *OR* XnView, etc., etc. Alternately, allowing the user to manually enter specific XMP tag names to scan for and recognize as ratings in XnView would be *very* useful. If there is a conflict (i.e., rated '5' in a Windows Explorer-placed tag, but rated '4' in a Photoshop-placed tag), highlight the conflicted photo(s) by rating it/them 'C' or something in XnView.
Just an idea.
thx,
cc
