MP 0.38 Win: Spotlight and 'Ask' confirmation dialog

Hi,
In MP 0.38.
Right, follow this below reproduction
1.) I open a picture in the viewer
2.) I do a "Spotlight" on this same opened picture but I don't press 'apply' as yet.
3.) I then drag 'n' drop another picture from Win Explorer onto the same viewer of the exiting image (still in "Spotlight" mode)
4.) New picture image still loads but then I then arrogantly
decide to do another "Spotlight" on this new image.
5.)What then happens is that previous image file is loaded up again in the viewer (understandable) with the previous "Spotlight" mode and this is understandable behaviour.
However there should have been some warning message by the program, to me as the user, that this is happening before I dragged that second image to the viewer during initial "Spotlight" mode. I also think this issue might also concern any other special 'modes' in MP such as the crop toolbar 'mode' although I havn't tried this yet.
So what is needed to solve this in XnView MP is just another "Ask" confirm dialog window similar to this existing one; http://i53.tinypic.com/2vj5w9d.png - and this would simply ask prompt, before I dragged that new image:
"Do you want to continue with this operation first"
'Ok' or 'Cancel'
OK = so this would simply just continue with "Spotlight" mode (or any other mode) on same image and would not open the image file at all.
Cancel = so this would just close "Spotlight" mode on existing image and then go ahead and open the new image

I felt that this was not a bug, but just a small lacking feature, likely still perhaps.
This issue is not caused by Spotlight just absent software principle. Nobody's fault.
