just a quick one which really annoyed me(there's a lot of room for improvement in there)

It is now improved in MP 0.38.xx builds (just like your two green ticks) you should give yourself a pat on the back for such a fine UI suggestion.

But still no setting for Middle mouse button!

But there is already "use middle click to switch between" setting in 'Switch mode' tab..

..That is unless you prefer you could configure something like image 'brightness' with middle click, lol

Actually, I use middle-click-and-hold for panning images in another software, so adding that option would be great, and would not conflict with the current assignment to the middle mouse button.

Right, JohnFredC, you've got the Middle-click option which is now in 0.38.7 that you requested.
