I misunderstood...

I mean the same "history" as in Explorer>View>Go To> Back / Forward (Alt+Left Arrow / Alt+Right Arrow).

What about "History Path Box" next to Favourites?

In xnview? No, but in Explorer...

But in xnview there is "History Path Box" next to Favourites, what is it? Can't this be used for history (shortcuts above)?

In IE there is the same "history" and same shortcuts.

Also in my file manager and probably also in TC "Alt+Left / Alt+Right" shortcuts are used.

:) Hello !
Also in my file manager and probably also in TC "Alt+Left / Alt+Right" shortcuts are used.
- In TC, they are used too to display the Previous << >> Next directory content from the
<history-menu> in the current session only { not saved :( }

Yes, I want exactly this:
- In TC, they are used too to display the Previous << >> Next directory content from the <history-menu> in the current session only { not saved }
And if you want to save it, please save it only if option "Purge most recently used files and dirs on exit" is disabled :wink:

i don't think saving between sessions makes much sense. i agree that this would be very helpful, though.

- It's following each user's own tastes/needs in XnView, I guess…
- I just pointed out that is not saved in TC, and that it is missing a lot still, although it has beed requested a billion times :P There is not any option / feature built-in TC to perform such a saving. :(

Count me in, I'd also like to have the next/previous buttons of mouse to work in XnView. I got used to it while using AcdSee and I really miss it :|
