Sorting by other date metadata in Browser

I noticed you can only sort by either "Date" or EXIF Date when viewing thumbnails in the browser. In Windows XP, sorting by date usually sorted by "date modified" but in Windows 7, the "date" attribute appears to be another date. Is there any way to sort by other date metadata such as creation date, modified date, date accessed, etc?
