Annotation fail in batch rename..

When {Annotation} is used in name template, the 'new name' field is blank..
in xnview-win 1.98, I can use this to rename the file as that in 'descript.ion' , to guard against copying errors, where the author has lazily named them as 001, 002, etc.. (instead of 'ford civic', 'ford meastro', etc... )
A problem with this is if 'non-legal' chars are used..( \ / : . * < > " are not accepted by windows, so cause an error..)
The '/' is converted to a '-' but not the others!! please can xnviewMP convert the others in the same way??
