I would recommend to wait until these features make into official 0.1.4 release.

Yes, XnView must add support for these when they become final in WebP
....Firefox and Opera browsers need support too

Downloaded "libwebp-0.2.1-windows-x86.zip" from 2012-Oct-30 ... has lossy example only ... I'll test later.
