Referring to that topic and my post;

...i found that the print dialog for multi-page tiffs is completely broken. Here is the problem:

- When i try to print a multipage tiff, though i deselect "insert all images..sources.." radio button, and select a range, the preview isn't the one defined in range. Plus,
i get a weird "1 / 0" text below print preview pane on the right. That's really weird and new for me, older version haven't been affected by this bug, at least as far as i determined.

More problems, when you choose a page to print from preview dialog for a multi-page tiff, even you choose correct image number, the preview images are the same in image 1 and image 2 which is another extremely weird bug / issue.

Is that resolved or fixed with a trick? Or should i stick with older versions like i did by installing 1.96?

Do you use Print in viewer or browser mode?
Which range do you use? For which TIFF file??

It is 1.98.2, in image viewer's print dialog with preview pane on the right, the range i use depends on file like 2 to 2 just for page 2 though 1 to 2 doesn't show both images in preview pane and i strangely get 1 / 0?

The tiff file is a multi page (2 pages) one which i used to print with no issues with older versions like 1.96.

I think XnView has the same so-called problem(s) like other programs when they're updated.

I'm totally disappointed.

Pierrè, i could not fing any bug fix notification for 1.98.5 related to multipage tiff printing problem here:

So, does it worth to update? From now on, i'm hesitating to update as newer versions bring new bugs which didn't exist for ages before.

A bug in Print dialog has been fixed in 1.98.3
