XnView Software

I have XnView running faithfully on my Windows 7 Acer laptop, it does captures ok using the hotkey F11, but when I try to do a screenshot capture of the active window (the VirtualBox VM console), Xnview does nothing. I understand that when using Virtualbox that the keyboard and mouse are captured by the Virtualbox VM console, but when I try pressing the R ctrl key to release the KB/M, and then try to do capture with XnView... just tried it, and XnView did the captures, but even though I had it set to "active window", XnView doesn't exactly capture only the active window (which is the VirtualBox VM console) but also the desktop area, too.

How do I get XnView to do multiple captures of the Virtual Box console (which I intend to run games on) only and not the rest of the windows 7 desktop area?

Is there any way to make sure that XnView's Screenshot Capture Hotkey does not get captured by Virtual Box when I'm using Virtual Box to play a game?
