Disabling and reenabling file size column expands all of the columns to the right, except date. Previous column widths are not remembered.
There is an issue…

Hello !
- I checked this here. Although I don't get the same exactly (?), I confirm that there is an issue :
- I disabled the file-size, then -like you say- the other columns didn't keep their previous widths; i.e. : the “Properties” column has been reduced and its caption truncated with "
…".
- Enabling the file-size again restores all alright…
- I use the layout
#4 (from up to down in the menu) always, but I don't think it does matter…

Kind regards,
Claude

• Well, so we can say that the layout doesn't matter

I've just tried to reproduce this problem and found the following behaviour:
Whenever disabling or enabling (showing or hiding) a column using "View > Columns", XnView resizes all other column to some value (possibly an internal value). And it doesn't matter which column you show/hide.
(Windows XP SP2)
