Printing in TIF images

Our company is moving away from a document imaging solution - however, the viewer of the new imaging solution will not view some scanned documents from the old system. It can not view TIF images that have JPEG (color) compression. These are generally multipage TIF images, so the first couple of pages would be LZW or Group 6 fax compression and the last few pages are full color and the scanning software (Kofax) would switch to a different compression.

For example:

Page 1 - Group 6
Page 2 - Group 6
Page 3 - Group 6
Page 4 - JPEG
Page 5 - JPEG

In XnView this works fine, except when we go to print the documents.

XnView either chops the JPEG compression pages...... or sometimes print them in black-in-white.

Since we're in the medical field, patient privacy regulations prevent me from uploading the image.

I'll upload the diagnostic info from nconvert -info on the couple of images I have for example.

Thanks!
Glen Goldsmith
