XnView Software

Hallo,

there are thumbnails for flv in the ms explorer view, but xnview can´t generate thumbs for flv . So I think the codecs are ok, but xnview seems to have a different usage of them. Maybe klite switched the preference from ffdshow to lav decoder in some of their latest releases and since then xnview seems to have problems (as far as my system in concerned (Win xp)...).
I don´t have any other codec-packs or players which could confuse the codecs, even irfanview is off and cleaned.

Some ideas?

Some files can be thumbnailed by Windows explorer, while they don´t get displayed in Xnviewmp.
Others display well in both.

Hi,

I went back to version 1.97.4 (I tried all backward from 1.98.8 ) and now finally everything is working perfectly.
Don´t know what might have changed in xnview, maybe (according to the log) "thumbnail for mpeg file".
I am using klite full 8.6.
