Can you please tell me what causes the multiple pages? I never had them before and now, when I open a tif in XnView, I find them all the time. What causes them, please?

I don't understand your question. The posting discusses the printing of files, and you are asking about the cause (the appearance) of multiple files?

Yes, please. The multiple files that they are talking about. I keep running into tif files that have multiple files, and I do not know why they have the multiple files. I was hoping since you were talking about the mutliple files that you would not mind me asking here why the tif gets multiple files to begin with so I could stop my tif files from getting them. Thank you for your time. I love your program and use it all the time... and, until recently, did not run into this issue. Thanks again.

So your question is:
Why my TIF-files have multiple pages?
Right? Or am I still wrong?

I suppose the question is easy, but maybe not what you expected:
Because the creator of the files made it with multiple pages.

There are file-types which can have multiple pages: DOC, PDF, RTF, HPGL, GIF, TIF .....
And that is not a problem of the viewer-software. You also could ask "Why does my PDF have multiple pages?" There are image-viewer which have problems with multi-page, but XnView has not and displays them.

But if I'm wrong you can provide a sample-file.

So, if I understand correctly, when I was editing the tif file, I somehow clicked to save it as multiple pages. Okay, I just don't know how I did that or why it suddenly is happening, but if that is what you say, I believe you. Thank you for your time.
I do love your program!
