Future of XnView

Hello XnView team,
I'm using this wonderful tools quite a long time with windows. My main tasks is to organize my pictures (drag&drop), rotate (lossless jpeg) and to do slide shows. Everything is working well beside of the incomplete unicode support.
I tested XnViewMP without success. No slide show, no drag & drop.

So, will we have a full unicode support for XnView or do I have to wait for XnViewMP and look for some other tools meanwhile? I really would not like to do so. Version 0.39 of XnViewMP tells me that it will take a long time to make it useable.

Whatever your answer will be,
thank you for XnView.

Unicode is not easy in XnView, a lot of code must rewritten, so XnViewMP is better...
Why XnViewMP is not useable?

Sorry :) next week for the first preview (for windows)
I can't find any mention of a slideshow feature, though.
