XnViewMP 0.48 - File Association Tool

It only works for "webp" format, all the others fail with "Problem to change file association. Please try to start with admin rights" error which I'm sorry to say won't help anyone.

Sigh, I tried running ""Associate files with XnViewMP.exe" with "Run with Administrator Priv" and no difference not that there should be given that UAC is completely disabled.

This tool needs to delete all prior associations with the selected extension backed to a "virgin" install of Windows before attempting to associate with XnViewMP.

Update:
This works properly when going Start Orb -> Default Programs -> Set your default programs -> XnViewMP and click "Set All Defaults for this Program"

Yes, it's normal. But if you restart the "Associate files with XnViewMP.exe", are you able to change associations, now?

Actually no, All formats are checked when opening the tool but when I uncheck JPG, click OK and re-open the tool, JPG remains checked!

I am experiencing the same issue as ckit on my Windows 7 sp1...Also if I "select all" and then deselect one or two before before pressing OK then next time I open the dialog again the proper selections I made are not remembered.

Obviously this issue does not exist on Win XP because of no UAC.

Also I have no problems with making File Association with XnView 1.98 on Win XP or Win 7 :)
