Photoshop CS can't open .psd files generated by XnView at all. It says "Not compatible with this version of PS". What version is it? 3? 2?

I use standard spec for PSD, and with Photoshop?

I use standard spec for PSD, and with Photoshop?

I don't understand your question. I scanned a picture with XnView, saved it as PSD and then tried to open it with Photoshop CS but it gave me the already mentioned error.

I don't understand your question. I scanned a picture with XnView, saved it as PSD and then tried to open it with Photoshop CS but it gave me the already mentioned error.

I have no problem with Photoshop 6

I said Photoshop CS which is version 8.
