Gnome (scratch) and Mezich show black backgrounds at 16bit color.

The default skin shows white backgrounds at 16bits...

The rest of the skins seem to be OK at 16bits and no problems at 32bits. I can't test 24bit.

XnView 1.80 <x>

Work here…

:) Hello John!

- Weird, these two skins work normally here with 65-K colours under Win 98 SE. I've an Intel™ M.B. D865GVHZ, with built-in graphic-card, no problem…

 Kind regards,
Claude

@JohnFredC: what OS are you running on? What SP (if applicable)? these three skins make use of alpha blending at 24 or 32 bit color depths.

XP SP2...

No problem for me, I switched to 32bit. Don't know why I was set to 16.

Just reporting.

The Skin is Displaying the background colour...

Hi,

The Skin is Displaying the background colour of skin rather than the WinXp colour scheme. so there's a "border" around each icons. Is this some issue with the transperency?

The monitor that I use doesn't support 32 bit colours at 1024x768 only 16 bit is supported.

The Interface looks freaky this way... I have never encountered this problem in any of the previous versions of XnView. Only after I upgarded to XnView 1.80.1 this problem came :( .

Is there some setting within XnView that can be used to avoid this?

I am using WinXP SP 2.

Thanks
Vijay

Is it a problem with WinXP SP2 upgrade?

I am experiancing the same problem at 24 bit color. (only 16 & 24 available on my older laptop) It's a shame because on my newer laptop at work, Mezich looks spectacular! Any solutions as of yet?
