Thumbnail whole folder

The implementation of entire folder thumbnailing is not good. Even on same computer xnviewMP tries to do thumbnails for entire folder although all files have been already thumbnailed.
Workaround is only to switch of thumbnailing for entire folder. But I think xnview could maybe better detect itself it is necessary to start new thumbnailing for entire folder or not. If the number of files in the thumbnail databse this could be an indicator that thumbnailing is not needed. Also file creation/modification date could be an indicator.
Basically I believe the most common use case would be: 1. Do thumbnails whole folder for the first time until all files have been put into database. And then only do incemental changes. Currently I have to do this by switching off entire folder thumbnailing. It would be nice if xnviewmp could detect this on its own.
