Contact sheet creation problem

Hi.

I have a strange problem with creating contact sheets with XnView (v1.66 for Windows).

Up until recently, I was able to create contact sheets fine straight after starting up my PC. However, after running it for a while, I would click on 'create contact sheet', then 'Create' just as before and absolutely nothing would happen.

Now, nothing happens on clicking 'Create' at all. I have tried reinstalling XnView to no avail.

Is the contact sheet creation using a running Windows 2000 service that has been disabled?

Thanks for any suggestions...

XnView is "self-sufficient"

Sounds like a really strange problem. XnView is pretty "self-sufficient" and does not depend on Windows Services or specific Windows DLLs.
I suspect your system memory to be very low for some reason. A reason could be some other software or a Virus. For example Adobe Photoshop grabs most RAM available once it is started.

Please start the Windows Task manager of Windows 2000 to find out about the processes running on your system and the resources available.

Lack of memory

Yes, the problem was lack of available RAM. Could I suggest that XnView gives you a warning message rather than just do nothing?

Fabulous software by the way!!
