0.51: zoom out of large gif image

If a gif image is larger than window, I can view it 1:1 or larger scale. But when zoomed out or fit to window, I can only see a mosaic or scripts.
Please check it.

Strange, with the posted gif file, i can't reproduce. You have this problem only with this file?

No, any gif larger than screen, even one converted by xmviewmp...

Pierre, I'm not able to reproduce this behavior with
2008080715284428.gif either, but the vertical lines in rmtk's screenshot...
... look a lot like that
known glitch.
