Smoothly zoom in on full screen like Windows Photo Viewer

Is there any way to get XnView v1.99 to zoom in smaller pictures by default when watching them on fullscreen? And smooth them over afterwards because as it stands manually zooming in makes the picture extremely blocky, that doesn't happen with WPV.

I'd like to start using XnView as an alternative to WPV because it's sort of bugging out on me for some reason, but this is a pretty crucial feature for me. Is it possible?

I hope I made it clear what I am talking about, and thanks for your time! :D

Is the checkbox for Enlarge in Tools » Options... » View » View » High quality zoom enabled?

It was checked for Make Smaller, but not for Make Larger. Zoom quality seems to be good now, but it still doesn't auto-zoom when I browse pictures in fullscreen.

You can customize XnView's behavior to your liking:
  • Tools » Options... » View » View » Auto Image Size
Tools » Options... » View » Fullscreen » Fullscreen » Auto Image Size
