0.51 Win7 x64: Crashes changing from INI to registry, more

Two crashes, both in settings:
* Switching from .ini User (System) to Windows Registry is a guaranteed crash as soon as you hit OK.
* In Thumbnail/Appearance tab, clicking up or down on the border setting is an instant crash.
One more, unreproducible: I've had a couple of crashed with JPEG XR files. Either when saving them or when browsing them. However, sometimes they'll also work just fine. I don't know what's up with that.
Both of these are on a clean installation.
During initial setup, the configuration will always default to INI even if registry is chosen, maybe because of this?
Not a crash, just a bug: I changed the default from double-click from view to browser/fullscreen. Sometimes, double-click to exit does nothing, you can click as fast as you want and nothing happens. However, hit escape and it closes, then you can get back in and double-click out no problem. It's only after browsing for a bit and coming back, I don't know why.
Sort of a bug but I'm not quite sure:
When you have a tag defined on the tooltip in the browser, which isn't present in the file - like {Date taken} when not EXIF is available - the text {Date taken} just sits there, instead of being replaced with something like "--". Best of all would be conditional formatting, but that's probably way more effort than necessary.
I'll post my wishlist in another thread.
Also:
A BIG thank you for fixing the ini settings to save as soon as users hit OK, instead of when users exit the program. It used to be that a crash lost everything since the last exit, not anymore, I love it.
MP has really come a long way in the last 4-5 years and it's definitely a good alternative to the original now. I'm glad I gave it another shot.
