Why does xnviemp not use the Windows Explorer thumbs.db? For users who switch from Windows Explorer to xnviemp, it would be great time saving, if xnviewmp would import already existing thumbnails from the thumbs.db instead of recreating them.

Currently i don't know how to read it

A Google search "how to read thumbs.db" turned up many hits with links to code: C++, C#, Delphi, even Visual Basic.

I haven't tested any of them, but the following is cited frequently:
